I/DD Support and Crisis Support Inquiries in North Carolina

Children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families can contact Spreading Seeds to discuss support needs and possible next steps. We welcome inquiries throughout North Carolina and confirm location, staffing, readiness and availability individually.

When circumstances change

Families may need help finding appropriate support when a caregiver becomes ill, an existing arrangement changes, or a person’s needs become difficult to manage. Tell us the general situation and we can discuss which service or referral may be appropriate.

Sitter and respite support

Sitter or respite inquiries may concern caregiver relief and gaps in care. Ask our friendly, reliable team about your situation; support depends on the individual needs and available staff.

Specialized crisis-support inquiries

Specialized I/DD crisis support is distinct from sitter or respite care. We will review the situation and our readiness before discussing any service or referral. We do not guarantee immediate placement or crisis response through this form.

For independent information about North Carolina crisis resources, see NCDHHS crisis services.
